An Announcement from the Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC)
Dear Members and Friends of Trinity Church,
It is with the deepest appreciation in our hearts for Kit Ulman that we write to you today. Kit has decided to retire at the end of August. This decision was not easy to make, but Kit felt the time was right. The decision was made prior to Kit's accident and the announcement has been postponed so we could focus on her recovery. None-the-less, Kit has served as the accompanist for Trinity Church for 30 years and we thank her for 30 years of blessings.
Please join the staff and Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) as we celebrate this time of ministry with Kit Ulman. Many voices, aspiring musicians and performers have come together to create a wondrous variety of music with Kit in our sanctuary. Music touches us in so many ways. It can soothe, uplift, restore, empower, and rejuvenate us, just to name a few. Most of all it is praise for our Lord. Thank you, Kit, for touching our lives with the power and praise of music. You have shown us how to worship our Lord with music. Your example has shown us how our talents can be used for the expansion of the Body of Christ.
Please know that we are working to celebrate Kit's years of ministry with us in the time ahead. Stay tuned for details.
As a result of this transition, Trinity Church - United Methodist is searching for a Worship Musician with talents in piano, organ, and other worship instruments. Interested persons should submit a cover letter and resume to the SPRC. These can be dropped off in the office or emailed to jobs@trinityumbd.org. A job description is available in the office.
Thank you,
Staff Parish Relations Committee of Trinity Church
